inMeet Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the inMeet website (https://www.inmeet.ai), software platform, applications, cloud-hosted services, on-premise deployments, features, integrations, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). inMeet is an enterprise video meeting and collaboration solution operated by InstaVC (“InstaVC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing, browsing, installing, or using the inMeet website or Services in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.

1. Eligibility and Authority

You represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements. If you access or use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have full authority to bind such organization to these Terms. References to “you” include the organization.

2. Scope of Services

inMeet provides enterprise video meetings, conferencing, collaboration, and related communication features, available as cloud-hosted SaaS and customer-managed on-premise deployments.Features and functionality may vary based on deployment model, subscription, and contractual terms.

InstaVC reserves the right to modify, enhance, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, without liability.

3. Acceptance by Use (Website & Product)

Your access to or use of the inMeet website or Services constitutes acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

4. Account Registration and Security

Certain Services require account creation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to update it as required.

Enterprise administrators may manage users, permissions, recordings, and data access. You acknowledge that your organization controls administrative access and data governance within its environment.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services in any unlawful, infringing, abusive, deceptive, or disruptive manner. Prohibited conduct includes unauthorized access attempts, interference with system integrity, malware distribution, scraping, reverse engineering, misuse of meeting data, or violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

InstaVC may suspend or terminate access where misuse, security risk, or legal exposure is identified.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, source code, designs, documentation, trademarks, logos, and underlying technology, are owned by or licensed to InstaVC. No rights are granted except for the limited right to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of your content, but grant InstaVC a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process such content solely to provide the Services.

7. Data Protection and Privacy

Your use of the Services is governed by the inMeet Privacy Policy, which describes how personal data is collected, processed, and protected. By using the Services, you consent to such processing in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Where Services are used by an organization, the organization acts as the data controller / data fiduciary, and InstaVC acts as a data processor or service provider, subject to contractual arrangements.

8. Cloud vs On-Premise Data Responsibility

Cloud-Hosted inMeet

For cloud deployments, InstaVC hosts and processes data on behalf of the customer using industry- standard security practices. InstaVC is responsible for infrastructure security, platform availability (subject to disclaimers), and data processing as contractually agreed. Customers remain responsible for user access controls, meeting governance, and lawful use of data.

On-Premise inMeet

For on-premise deployments, the customer hosts and controls the infrastructure, storage, and data environment. InstaVC does not control or store customer data within on-premise deployments,except where limited access is expressly granted for installation, maintenance, or support. The customer is solely responsible for data security, access management, backups, compliance, and regulatory obligations within its environment.

InstaVC shall not be liable for data loss, breaches, misconfigurations, or security incidents arising from customer-managed infrastructure.

9. Marketing Communications

By accessing the website, requesting demos, or submitting contact details, you consent to receive business communications, product updates, service notices, and marketing outreach, to the extent permitted by law. You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time. Service- related or legally required communications may continue.

10. Third-Party Services and Integrations

The Services may integrate with third-party platforms. InstaVC does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, security, or practices. Use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms.

11. Service Availability

The Services are provided on an “as available” basis. While InstaVC aims for enterprise-grade reliability, uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, upgrades, or external factors may result in temporary unavailability without liability.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”​InstaVC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InstaVC, its parent company PeopleLink, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, revenue, profits, business, or goodwill.

In no event shall InstaVC’s total aggregate liability exceed the fees paid by you for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or INR 10,000, whichever is lower, unless otherwise required by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InstaVC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, violation of applicable laws, or infringement of third-party rights.

15. Suspension and Termination

InstaVC may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms, pose a security or legal risk, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification shall survive termination.

16. Legal Compliance and Law Enforcement

InstaVC may disclose information if required by law, regulation, court order, or governmental request, or where necessary to protect rights, security, public safety, or prevent unlawful activity. Such disclosures may occur without notice where legally permitted.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

18. Modifications to Terms

InstaVC may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver.

Unless otherwise stated, inMeet and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on inMeet. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from inMeet for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

  • Sell, rent or sub-license material from inMeet
  • Profile information (name, profile picture)
  • Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from inMeet
  • Redistribute content from inMeet

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof. Parts of this website offer an opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. inMeet does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of inMeet,its agents and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who post their views and opinions. No use of inMeet's logo or other artwork will be allowed for linking absent a trademark license agreement.
